1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FormatFlow at formatflow.io (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

FormatFlow provides a free, browser-based image format conversion tool. The Service converts images between formats including HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, JPG, PNG, PDF, and WebP. All processing occurs locally in your web browser — files are never uploaded to our servers.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

Free tier: Users may convert up to 5 files per 24-hour session. Advertisements may be displayed.

Pro tier ($4.99/month or $34.99/year): Unlimited conversions, no advertisements, quality controls, and batch ZIP downloads. Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or authentication mechanisms
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service excessively
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your images. We claim no ownership or rights over files you convert. The FormatFlow name, logo, and Service design are our intellectual property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free, that quality will meet your expectations, or that the Service will be available at all times.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormatFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Refund Policy

Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Refunds for partial billing periods are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@formatflow.io for refund requests.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
