Why Convert HEIC Photos to PDF?
PDF is the universal document format. When you need to submit photos as part of an application, insurance claim, medical record, real estate listing, or any formal paperwork, PDF is almost always the expected format. Converting your iPhone HEIC photos to PDF makes them ready for professional use.
Many government forms, university applications, and business processes specifically request documents in PDF format. Rather than converting HEIC to JPG and then inserting into a document, you can go directly from HEIC to PDF in one step.
PDF also preserves layout exactly as intended across all devices and operating systems. When you send a PDF, the recipient sees exactly what you see — regardless of whether they're on Windows, Mac, phone, or tablet. This consistency makes PDF ideal for any situation where presentation matters.
Another common use case is archival. PDFs are widely considered the standard for long-term document storage. Converting your iPhone photos to PDF creates organized, easily searchable documents that will remain readable decades from now.
Complete Privacy — No Upload
This is especially important when converting sensitive documents like ID photos, medical records, or insurance documentation. Your HEIC files are processed entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and jsPDF. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
No account required. No cloud storage. No third-party access to your photos. Close the tab and all data is gone.
Technical Details
This converter decodes HEIC files using libheif compiled to WebAssembly, then generates PDF documents using jsPDF — a client-side JavaScript PDF generation library. The entire process runs in your browser.
Photos are automatically scaled to fit standard page sizes (A4 or Letter) while maintaining their original aspect ratio. The default output uses A4 page size with minimal margins to maximize image area. Image quality in the PDF is set to 92% JPEG compression for optimal balance between file size and visual quality.
When combining multiple photos, each image gets its own page in the PDF. The resulting document can be viewed, printed, and shared using any PDF reader.
